I don't make new year's resolutions

so i'm not resolving to do more (like perhaps write something) with this blog thing. Still, seems a waste not to use it now i've got it, so i'm going to have a go at writing a bit more next year. Just for the exercise mind, none of this resolution rubbish, right?

Spent most of today drawing imaginary lines on maps and reading about turf mazes, grottos, caves and churches. As it's new year's eve, i shall be pushing the boat out by having a quiet night in on my own with a tin or two of rather nice cider and a couple of videos (Stardust or 28 Days Later? Hmm...), cos that's the kind of devil-may-care reprobate i am these days.

Tomorrow it's either dinner at KK's or a trip into Essex with camera and stick and a view to exploring some of the stuff i read about today. All depends on the grumpiness mood of the KK - so the camera bag is packed and ready.

I wonder if there's a way of linking my flickr pictures here?..  looks up... Dur!
